MAIN ROAD OF PONTEDERA |
Pontedera is an Italian town in the province of Pisa.
The city is bordered by the Plain of Pisa in the west, the plain of Lucca in north-west,
north-east Cerbaie and Valdera south. The climate is sub-humid summers of the
Mediterranean type. The area of the municipality of
Pontedera has been inhabited since the Palaeolithic. The city's name derives from
the bridge that was built (around 1099) by Upezzinghi at the mouth of the Age. The
Pontedera May 30, 1930 was proclaimed "city" and the end of the war with
the Piaggio participated actively in the economic boom of the sixties. There is also the interesting
museum of Piaggio in Pontedera. The Piaggio Museum received the award for Best Museum
and Archives Business in Italy in the 2003 edition of the prestigious prize business and culture. It houses a
permanent exhibition collections: Piaggio, Vespa and Gilera that are unique,
original, fascinating and sometimes curious who made the history of Italian and global transport. Also in Pontedera located in an peripheral
find the station and the hospital. AlpToday Pontedera is
an important industrial and commercial center that has a large real estate
development. Pontedera is a very big town: there
are plenty of schools, churches, libraries, beauty shops, bars, pizzerias, restaurants, pharmacies, tobacconists, clothes stores, cosmetics
stores, music stores. One of the places I like the most is the film called
"Cineplex" is great there
are 9 rooms with
1,178 seats. The
Cineplex Pontedera is a modern property located in the fine shopping
mall The Galleria, which includes many services
like: restaurants, gym, bank, national brand
franchise and the fantastic bar at the entrance where
me and my friends eat something after watching a great movie. AlphaAlso at the heart of Pontedera
there is a beautiful course with many benches, bars where you can make a small snack but
also great pizzerias where you
can eat really well!. The course
is quite long and full of shops including my favorites are "Kiko" (make-up), "Tally Weijl" (for
clothes) and "Follie" (sells for clothes and
the jewelry). It
's really interesting, of course,
for those who love these things.
I suggest you to visit this beautiful town!
